Agreement
By creating an account, buying a pad or using DanceDojo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The membership
The membership is billed monthly and renews automatically until you cancel. If your plan starts with a free trial, we will email you before the trial converts and the first charge is made.
You can cancel at any time from your account page, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling is online, takes effect immediately, and never requires you to call or email us.
Hardware
Dance pads are manufactured by third parties and carry their manufacturer warranty. We will help you make a warranty claim. Our refund policy is on its own page and forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not resell or redistribute the music, charts or software; do not attempt to bypass access controls or extract our content in bulk; do not interfere with the service or with other players; do not use the service to break the law.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules, and will refund any unused prepaid period unless the account was terminated for fraud or abuse.
Content and ownership
The music, charts, software and artwork in DanceDojo belong to ViralScripts LLC or our licensors. Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to play them; it does not transfer ownership.
Anything you upload or generate stays yours. You grant us the licence we need to store it, process it and show it back to you.
Physical activity
DanceDojo is exercise. Consult a physician before starting if you have a medical condition, and stop if you feel unwell. Play on a flat, dry, non-slip surface with clear space around the pad. Follow the weight and usage limits in your pad’s documentation.
Some songs and effects include flashing visuals. If you are sensitive to flashing light, reduce or disable them in Settings before playing.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for a defective product.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes are emailed to account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
